Summary
A full-size 108-key tri-mode mechanical keyboard with a gasket-mounted plate, five layers of dampening foam and hot-swappable sockets, aimed at buyers who want a feature-dense board without spending much. Check that a full-size layout and an all-plastic case suit your desk before you buy.
Strengths
- A gasket mount with five foam layers is rare at this price.
- Tri-mode USB-C, 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth covers desktop, laptop and mobile.
- Hot-swap 3-pin and 5-pin sockets, with 4 spare switches and a puller in the box.
- The full-size 108-key layout keeps the numpad and adds 4 programmable hotkeys.
- PBT keycaps and south-facing RGB make keycap swaps easier.
Weaknesses
- The all-plastic case flexes noticeably, according to an owner review.
- Without a wrist rest, one owner finds it uncomfortable to type on for long.
- No independent instrumented test exists, so long-term reliability is unproven.
- Mint Mambo switch force, travel and durability are not published.
- Battery runtime is undocumented; one owner reports 8+ hours in 2.4 GHz mode.
- Redragon’s software is proprietary, with no QMK or VIA support.

Which model this is
This page covers the ANTONIUM K745 PRO, a 108-key full-size board. It is a distinct revision from the base K745: the PRO adds the gasket-mounted structure, five layers of dampening, upgraded hot-swap sockets and the Mint Mambo linear switch. Redragon sells it in purple, black, pink, white/orange, black/green and white/pink. The South Africa SKU is RD-K745WB-RGB-PRO, and the US listing is ASIN B0FDKPF9QJ. Don’t confuse it with the older, non-PRO K745.
Typing feel, sound and build
The gasket-mounted plate and the five foam layers give the board a controlled sound rather than a hollow one, according to Redragon’s own review. The Mint Mambo switches are factory-lubed linear units that Redragon describes as smooth and creamy. At 1.06 kg the board sits solidly on a desk, but the all-plastic case has some flex; one owner review calls the flex noticeable and says the board is not the most comfortable to type on without a wrist rest, which is not included. Nobody has published an instrumented test of the switch force or travel.
Connectivity and battery
Tri-mode means USB-C wired, 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 3.0 or 5.0, with a Mac/Win switch on board. The 4000 mAh battery has no published runtime; the only owner figure is 8+ hours of 2.4 GHz use between charges, and that is one person’s anecdote. Hot-swap sockets take 3-pin and 5-pin switches, and the box includes four spare Mint Mambo switches and a 2-in-1 puller, so a failed switch is a pull-and-replace job rather than a soldering job.
Repairs, parts and running costs
Hot-swap sockets are the main repairability feature; no soldering is needed to change a switch. Beyond that Redragon documents no user-serviceable internals, so battery or PCB work is not an owner task. South Africa lists an 18-month warranty, while US warranty terms are not published. Redragon’s US store showed a 25% off code, FALL25, at the time of check.
Is it worth it?
Redragon’s US store lists the board at $69.99 (2026-10), and Redragon’s own review and a Reddit buyer both cite $64.99. Below $60 this is strong value for the feature set; $61 to $70 is competitive; $71 to $85 is fair; above $85 it is weak, because keyboards with independent testing and proven reliability start to appear. The catch is not the price but the evidence: there is no independent instrumented test and very little long-term owner data, so you are buying the spec sheet and Redragon’s warranty rather than a proven track record.
