The Core Ultra 7 255H brings 16 cores and Arc 140T graphics, and ASUS rates the NUC 15 Pro with U7 at up to 97 TOPS of AI performance. Do not confuse it with the NUC 15 Pro+, which reaches 99 TOPS. One catch for AI buyers: the Arrow Lake-H NPU inside the 255H is 11 TOPS, so this machine does not meet Microsoft Copilot+ PC minimum specifications.
No established test outlet has published an instrumented review of this exact configuration. Tom’s Guide’s best mini PCs guide, updated in September 2026, covers the NUC 15 Pro+ but not the NUC 15 Pro. Treat performance, thermals and noise as unverified until independent measurements appear.
Upgrades and expansion
The tool-less chassis is the practical highlight: RAM and storage upgrades need no screws. The main slot takes a PCIe Gen5 NVMe SSD, while the second M.2 slot is a 22x42 Gen4 expansion point rather than a second full-size SSD bay. ASUS sells separate accessories for a second 22x80 SSD, a second 2.5GbE LAN port, and a second LAN port with RS232 serial; the RS232 header is only on Tall Kits.

A single Liliputing comment from February 2025 describes a negative ASUS customer-service experience, but it concerns a used NUC 14 Pro+ and a monitor, not this model.
